I won’t be able to watch tonight’s episode for another few days, but I am so filled with pheels and they had to freaking go somewhere. :)
Yeah, I’ve had a tablet for about a quarter year or so now, but what can I say, I’m an old-fashioned kind of person. Plus I like to sketch and draft when I’m forced to kill time anywhere waiting for something. This was done almost entirely while hanging out in hospitals and various waiting rooms (not as a patient, just looking after family) over the past week, and from mostly small reference pics on my phone display, so if likeness isn’t too great here (ok I have some practice drawing Phil/Clark, but Amy was a first attempt), I do apologize. And yeah, I’ve shipped Phil and his Cellist from the moment it was mentioned in The Avengers, and oh my Godzilla how happy I was to hear that Amy Acker was cast to play the part, you really have no idea. <3

GRANDE CAPS - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In case anyone hasn’t come across this site yet - a huge gallery of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. screenshots (many other TV shows and movies, too), sorted by episode, in superb quality.

Here are some photos of the Coulsonite (Fe2+V3+2O4) mineral samples.
I originally got a total of four pieces of different size and consistence, which all came with name cards / COAs from the MRC. (The fact sheet from photo 5 is from http://www.mindat.org/min-1142.html)
I once again include the photo Clark Gregg posted, just because it’s beyond awesome and should I ever get the chance to meet him in person, this is the picture I would maybe ask him to sign (then again, I probably wouldn’t dare.).

Full mission report coming up when I have some more time on my hands.

The Canadian Consultant: If the Coulson fandom has a Director...

thecanadianconsultant:

If the Coulson fandom has a Director, Agent J is it. S.H.I.E.L.D. has Director Fury, we have Director Chaos. Level 10 all the way.

Careful who you vote for. I cannot feign sanity for an extended period of time, and I tend to eat all the supplies when nobody’s looking. Does Level 10 come with unrestricted 24h larder access? …might not be such a bad thing after all. Sweets & Home-cooked Irresistible Eatables; Lunch Division

Cake for everyone!

HOW DId YOU GET YOUR PHONE CARRIER TO SAY SHIELD
Anonymous

As if agents like us would would reveal secrets of this significance.

(For the less secretive folks, however, there are numerous Cydia tweaks - such as CarrierPigeon - that will let you change your carrier display name at will ;) Good luck, agent!)

thecanadianconsultant is on to me. I might need a new cover identity. Seriously though, awesome folks are awesome! :)

Those days when you just fee like eating everything.

Those days when you just fee like eating everything.

One of the great birthday presents just arrived from Vienna and the incomparable AgentJ aka @ChaosNDisaster #MineralsAreGoodForYou {x}

I keep getting messages and questions, and people still seem to think it’s just a joke, a pun. — But guys, it’s real!
Coulsonite IS a recognized mineral, classified as *rare* by the Mineralogical Society, and what Clark is holding here is a genuine sample it took me months to get my hands on. [Info and scientific data can be found here and here (or just google it). I will also be posting all I have on it later.]
I had the best time scrolling through the comments on this picture, and before I go and write the full-length post about the whole story (as I have wanted to for weeks now but hadn’t had the time) complete with lots of really lame geology puns and pics, I just want to say a few things for now, some amusing facts that add to the bigger picture:
1) The material was geologically re-defined in 1962, which might not be Coulson’s birth year, but it is Clark Gregg’s - a fact that I found irresistibly hilarious.
2) One of the elements in Coulsonite is Vanadium, named after Vanadís, another name for the Norse goddess Freyja - a lovely “Asgardian” touch. (Still remember the Asgardian Healing Stones from the Thor deleted scene? I couldn’t help thinking of that.)
Warning: I might annoy the hell out of everyone with this for a while, forgive me. It’s been quite an exciting mission to provide this “solid proof that Coulson rocks”, I’ve been working on it since 2012, so please allow me to squee over this for a bit here? (No more rock puns, though. Promised.) Now go and have a gneiss day… oh, shoot. :))

It’s a crisp, sunny autumn day in the city, colourful leaves are gently drifting on a cool breeze, and the Thoroughbred of Sin is busy on his side job. Apparently things aren’t going too well for the Evil League of Evil.
They’re watching, so beware.

It continues. Must be really hard to make a living in a civilized crime syndicate these days. Wonder if they have a labor union or something.

One of those little things that just happen while I’m in fact supposed to do something else entirely. Friday night is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. time on RTL Crime, and though I’ll probably never get used to the dubbing voices, it’s always good to see my favourite agents on-screen. :)

I love this film to bits. And for some reason, it’s one of the few movies that I find even funnier in German.

bahirazenzi: The story of fluffy Captain Renard and my birthday!

bahirazenzi:

It all started when I told my best friend that I love the TV show “Grimm” in September 2013 and that my favourite characters are Nick and Captain Renard.

As she gave me a cute fluffy Loki felt-puppet for Christmas last year I asked if she will make me a Nick and a Sean felt-puppet for my…

Thanks for sharing this, bahirazenzi! Just reblogging for now, because I know that if I started writing a proper comment and adding my side of the story, there would be no end to it - so that will have to wait until some later point in time and space. :’)

Apologies for being so useless here

& for being a horrible blogger… okay I guess I never really was a proper ‘blogger’, what with my irregular erratic posts every couple of weeks and such.

So I’ve shamelessly neglected this site lately, and I truly wish I had something - anything - interesting to share, but no matter how I turn it… I don’t.

I’ve been awfully useless lately, like I’m made of 50% stressed, 30% uncreative, and 20% lazy… or maybe another way around, doesn’t matter. With trying to sell a house, dealing with family members’ health issues, and hopefully starting a new job soon, there just isn’t enough energy left in me at the moment to be even the faintest bit original.

Not typing out excuses, just stating as a fact.

Mood of the day: Never Tell Me The Odds.

Also, never try to dissuade me from pulling off a crazy plan.
Especially if you’re a sales liaison, I want to buy something from you, and you have no idea why I am looking for a certain item. I appreciate your ‘concern’ and all the additional warnings information I did not ask for, but I don’t like being treated like a dimwit. Asking me ONCE if I am certain about a purchase is fine. Asking me twice will put me in eye-rolling “I already told you” mode. And any more time after that will make me suspect your brain runs Microsoft Windows and want to reboot you. By high-fiving you with a rock. Because has it occurred to you that maybe I don’t care that you think there are ‘a million better choices’ and that the chances are ridiculously small - I have solid reasons to want this very specific thing, and they are none of your business. I don’t want to hear about the odds, or alternate choices, thank you very much.

That being said, I love it when a plan comes together. :))

It’s ok. I don’t enjoy driving, either.
